Basic requirements
• BS/BA in a related field plus 8 or more years related experience. • Each higher-level related degree, i.e., Master’s Degree or Ph.D., may substitute for two years of related experience. Two years of related experience may be substituted for each year of education. Degree must be from a university, college, or school which is accredited by an agency recognized by the US Secretary of Education, US Department of Education. • A current, active Secret security clearance is required. • Experience in a contracts function or equivalent experience in DoW contracting. • Sound interpersonal skills involving interfacing, coordinating, and negotiating with company personnel, leadership, and customers. • Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision. • Ability to make decisions using sound judgement while complying with policies, procedures, appropriate principles and applicable state and federal laws and regulations. • Computer skills to maintain contract records within our business systems as well as demonstrated research and presentation skills. • Expert-level hands-on knowledge and experience with the FAR and DFARS.
