• Please list your current security clearance and IAT or relevant certifications on your resume, if applicable. • A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field from an accredited university, along with 8 years of experience; or a Master’s degree in a related field with 6 years of relevant work experience; or 12 years of relevant work experience may be considered as an alternative to a degree • Applicants must have a current, active in-scope DoD-issued Secret security clearance at the time of application, which is required to start with the ability to obtain Top Secret/SCI clearance • Willingness to travel 10% of the time for business needs • Must have demonstrated contributions to object-oriented software development and testing, including the ability to analyze high-level needs and define a structured, logical approach to refine the capability into an integrated set of requirements that led to a fielded product • Must demonstrate proven ability to communicate clearly, effectively present technical methods and findings, and have experience in writing and executing engineering plans within projects. • Must have proven skills in the following areas: • Development of new software capabilities • Java (or other object-oriented languages) for software development • Principles and patterns of object-oriented development • Create comprehensive and reproducible tests • Strong written and oral communication skills • The Software Engineer must understand software development processes and principles and be able to communicate the desired capabilities to a diverse group of developers, engineers, subject matter experts, and system users • Must be comfortable with rapidly changing requirements, design challenges requiring novel solutions, fast-paced work, and tight deadlines
