Basic requirements
• Please list your current security clearance and IAT or relevant certifications on your resume, if applicable. • A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field from an accredited university, along with 8 years of experience; or a Master’s degree (preferred) in a related field with 6 years of relevant work experience; or 12 years of relevant work experience may be considered as an alternative to a degree • Applicants must have a current, active DoD 8140 certification at IAT Level II or higher (such as Security+ CE, CCNA-Security, CySA+, CND, etc.) at the time of application, which is required to start. The candidate is responsible for maintaining their DoD 8140 certification throughout the entire contract period • Applicants must have a current, active in-scope DoD-issued Secret security clearance at the time of application, which is required to start • The position requires a strong working knowledge of cybersecurity concepts, including patch management, multi-factor authentication, endpoint security, intrusion detection, security event management, and defense-in-depth • Must have experience in requirements generation, architecture design, audit tools, and compliance activities for mission systems • Excellent interpersonal skills, demonstrated ability to support complex organizational relationships, and technical document preparation and verbal communication skills are required for the presentation of technical IA issues and reports to senior government and military officials • The position also requires security engineering skills and a working knowledge of cybersecurity technologies, NIST standards, DoDI 8500.2 , and SP 800-53 • The successful candidate must have experience in the Cybersecurity Lifecycle, including generating requirements, creating architecture designs, configuring audit tools, conducting verification, and per
