Basic requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Technical Communication, English, Journalism, Communications, Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field and 4+ years of relevant experience (additional experience, training, or certifications may substitute for degree). • US Citizen; Currently possesses an Active Secret Clearance. • Experience supporting engineering, software development, aerospace, defense, or government programs. • Demonstrated experience developing and maintaining technical documentation for complex systems, software applications, engineering programs, or operational environments. • Strong writing, editing, proofreading, and document development skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to diverse audiences. • Experience developing technical manuals, procedures, specifications, training materials, and customer‑facing documentation. • Strong understanding of document lifecycle management, version control, quality assurance, and documentation best practices. • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, Adobe Acrobat, and document management systems. • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
